Dr Ang Poh Kang received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from National University of Singapore in 1993. There after he worked in the Government Dental Clinic for 4 years to further his basic dentistry skill.
He was awarded a government scholarship to study orthodontics from 1997-2000. In 2000, Dr Ang graduated with a Distinction in Master of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) from the National University of Singapore, and received his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2003, he attained the Fellowship and was placed on the Roll of Specialists of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
From 2003 to 2006, he was appointed a clinical lecturer for the Orthodontic Graduate program by National University of Singapore/National Dental Centre. Since 1997, Dr Ang has been practicing orthodontics full time. He places great importance in continual Professional education and research. He has presented at several overseas and local conferences, and published in the renowned Orthodontic Seminar journal. He has also actively participated in both local and overseas orthodontic conferences.
